CORPORATE PLANNING MANAGER
Purpose of the Position
To assist the Country Director in:
1. Updating, implementing and monitoring Country Strategy,Annual Business Plans, Annual Implementation Plan
2. Developingand implementing Organizational Capacity Plan,
3. Planningand coordinating all important meetings/round tables and corporate events,donors visit etc.
4. Compilingand provide strategic information required by the Senior Leadership Teamfor strategic decision making and supporting communication & advocacyteam in developing key communication materials such as annual report, eventcalendar etc.
Role Dimension/Description
I. Developing,Implementing and Monitoring Corporate Strategy Annual Business Plan.
· Leadthe process of developing Country Strategy of WV TL
· Draftand finalise annual WV TL business plans
· Monitorimplementation of strategy and business plan
· CoordinateOperating Plan for each strategic period
· Coordinatedevelopment, implementation and monitoring of secondary strategies
· Participateand assist coordination of the WV TL strategy review
II. Developingand Implementing Organisational Capacity Plan
· Identifycapacity needs
· Developand update OCP on a regular basis
· MonitorOCP implementation
III. Alignmentof WVTL Country Strategy with the Region and PTL Strategy including GovernmentStrategy and Future Direction.
· Familiarizewith the regional, national and Govt level strategies.
· UpdateCD and SLT on the alignment of Country Strategy with other key strategies.
· Ensurethat strategic objectives of the organization are aligned with the plansand strategies of the countries we operate in
· Beaware of new trends, directions of other stakeholders and how they willaffect WV TL
IV. Planningand Coordinating all important meetings/round tables and corporate events
· Trackimportant meetings and events, extracting the essence for SLT
· Trackoverseas visitors
· Assistin organizing and coordinating round table meetings
V. Compilingand Provide Strategic information required by the Senior Leadership Teamfor Strategic decision making.
· Collectingdata/information related to strategy
· Ensureall macro assessments compiled and completed
· Regularlyupdate the SLT
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience
· Graduatein International development, leadership and Development, Public Health,Economics, Rural Development or similar discipline required. Post Graduatein similar discipline preferred.
· Threeyears experience in the development sector, sound academic background andwillingness to continue lifelong learning
· Demonstrateability to present and facilitate information or event to staff and stakeholder
Knowledge:
· Excellentverbal and written communication skill in English, Tetun and/or bahasaIndonesia.
· Abilityto plan, strategize and comprehend complex situation.
· Goodnetworking abilities and understanding of development context.
· Teamplayer who models Christian lifestyle and engages others in strategic process.
