CARE Timor Leste
has been working with Creative Associates International since October 2010 to
implement a large USAID contract, the School Dropout Prevention Pilot (SDPP)
Program. SDPP is a three year pilot project to research school dropout
prevention and create new approaches tailored to country specific needs. School
dropout severely limits the availability of qualified human resources for the
country's development and SDPP is working with the Ministry of Education and
local partners to develop and test a preventative model through a randomized
control trial.
The Country
Coordinator is a senior position and will manage SDPP staff and activities in
Timor Leste. In addition to management, the person will serve as the primary
representative of the SDPP project to the USAID mission, the Ministry of
Education, and other partners and stakeholders.
